Merici College buildings

Welcome to Merici College! We are a 7-12 Catholic Girls' College, established since 1959 and situated in Braddon in the heart of Canberra. As the longest established Catholic girls high school in Canberra, we build on a rich tradition of achievement and innovation in the education of girls, preparing confident and competent young women well equipped to contribute to the world beyond school.

2009 has been a year of celebration! Our fiftieth Jubilee year has provided us with exceptional opportunities to celebrate our past and to reflect on
the diverse factors that have formed this special community. The in depth exploration of the history of the College has enabled us to understand the
genesis of key factors that have shaped our present culture and to trace these through the fifty years.
