Welcome to the Parents' Page. This page aims to help you find any current information you may require regarding curriculum, co-curricular activities, upcoming events, whole school communications, or simply the best way to get in personal touch with us.
Close two-way communication is a priority for us here at Merici, as we are committed to working in partnership with you in the education of your daughters. Our College/Parents Communications Protocols set out the principles by which this will happen most effectively, and our contacts page lists the people who can best help you out for any pastoral, welfare or curriculum questions or queries you might have.
We encourage parents to be involved in the life of the community that is Merici College, so to find out about the various official and unofficial positions and opportunities for parents, go to the Opportunities for Parental Involvement page.
The Calendar and Term dates will let you know about what is on and when at Merici. Make sure you check this regularly to keep up to date with all the happenings at Merici.
Information about the curriculum for different year levels is accessed by going to the Teaching and Learning section. For specific information about one of your daughter’s classes, including such things as assignments, assessment outlines and excursion permission forms, access is through her MyClasses accessible from the Home Page using your daughter’s logon and password.
The Principal’s Noticeboard contains any whole-school or year-specific general letters from the Principal, and any other relevant notices. Other notices from outside organizations that may be of interest to the Merici community are in the Notices of Interest section.
“Building Futures”, our new, informative and comprehensive newsletter, which is posted to you seven times a year, is also available to you in an online version.
Parents are a vital part of the ongoing journey of education that Merici College undertakes on behalf of your daughters. Please let us know if there is any way we can make this journey a better one for you or your girls.
