Formal Pastoral Care

A formal pastoral care program is developed each year to address contemporary and emerging adolescent issues.  This year our Pastoral theme is - Truth and Love in Action

 

Truth and love should be actively present in our everyday lives, not something that is turned on and off depending on the situation or the person we are speaking to.

Truth and love should be evident in our relationships with:
Our World
- We search for truth in a complex and confusing world
- We act in truth and set an example for others
- We help those who are in need
- We care for our earth
Each other
- We communicate openly and truthfully, tempered by care and consideration of other’s feelings
- We seek truth in others communication with us
- Our actions are based on respect and care and follow the example that Jesus set for us
Ourselves
- We take time to reflect on the truth
- We are kind to ourselves and not too hasty to find fault
- We love and value ourselves
